Mirror motor running
I recently bought a 2014 Z51 3LT and I’m trying to sort out a couple problems. Twice when I’ve pulled into the garage, gotten out and walked pass the passenger side I hear the motor in the mirror running. The glass is not moving. I locked and unlocked the car with the remote and the motor stops. Pretty weird. Help!!!

If you’re new to the C7s they make a lot of humming, clicking, quiet motorized sounds after shutting down the engine. There’s a bunch of electrical things that seem to be shutting down & going into “hibernation” till next time you wake it. I believe you are just hearing one of them instead of the mirror motor. Sometimes a cooling fan will kick on a couple of minutes after shutdown if the motor is very hot after some spirited driving. JMO 🍻

Sounds like symptoms similar to an issue I once battled with. Do you use any of the “Easy Exit” features? Maybe it’s related to your “Memory Seat Module.” This black box controls the mirrors.

Yes, I hear all those noises, sometimes even when the car is cold and I open a door. Thought there was a mouse in the dash first time I heard it. But this is definitely the mirror. It stops if I lock unlock the car
