Is this the case for both runlet and non-runflat? "It's always something"

The Pilot Sport AS 3+ is still available, and is a superior tire to the discontinued non+ AS 3 tire it replaced.

Even the newer A/S 4 and A/S 4 ZP are showing as not available for the C7 in stock sizes. Have to wonder if this is a permanent or temporary situation due to supply disruptions/COVID/who knows what else.

Not sure what car you have, but Tire Rack says they have AS3+ in stock to fit the standard C7.

Been looking for new michelin all seasons for about a month. Tire Rack, Discount Tire, and Costco all cannot get any 3 or 3+ in runflat and non. 3+ have been discontinued, and 4 haven't been mass produced yet. So I guess my C7 Z06 is staying on bald sport cup 2s haha

Last summer I had to replace the 4 tires on the stingray. As I'm in a third world country(Kanada) the only thing available in the entire country were Goodyear Eagle. Everything else seemed to be discontinued, even the 3 dealers I called didn't have or wouldn't have any corvette tires. They told me the tires were discontinued! It's scary knowing in 4 years I might have to sell the car because no more tires exist. Now I can't even get gear oil at the dealer. Did I buy a freaking Unicorn?

Discount tire says they have them available, in 1 to 5 days.

Following the C7 market trend, then, we all ought to be putting our 3+s up for sale for wildly inflated prices, and then going on forums and bragging how little we paid for them pre-Covid and how much we just sold them for - while failing to mention that now we don't have a C7 to drive.

Lots of conflicting information coming from Michelin and the tire dealers. There was a Corvette news blog, about 2 months ago, where Michelin said the tires would start becoming more available this spring, as they were ramping up production. I'm seeing availability at Discount Tire that varies week to week. Some say they can get them, while others are saying they're discontinued. A quick check on Michelin's website still lists them, with no mention of being discontinued.

My go too guys for tires and wheels is Discount Tire in Texas City. They have always gone the extra mile to get what I wanted or needed. The Texas City location did an excellence job helping undo what the Katy Discount Tire did to my C7 Z51. They also did a great job of getting me a package deal on new tires and Shelby Wheels for my Mustang. I always had good results from the Tomball Tx location too. I guest my point is finding a place you trust is hard? but when you do keep going back. I'll be checking with the Texas City guys in near future to get a read on tire supplies for my GS.

Not sure if this applies to the AS3+, but some of the Corvette sizes apparently had the part number changed. If the shop checks using the old number, it shows Discontinued. If they use the new correct number, it may show them as Available.

I ordered the MPSS runflats for the rear of my GS in January from Discount Tire, took 3 months for them to come in. The fronts took less than a week.

I got a screw in the sidewall of my right rear. I figured I had better do something because Costco had a $150 rebate until 5/18/21.

The website did not show any PS3+ZP. I called and they had one set of four tires for the Costco inventory, in California..

I called Americas Tire and a very knowledgeable rep tell me they did not have any. He had a set of two front tires, no rears, even though they were showing on the website. I asked about PS4's and he then went the extra and got on the Michelin Tire site. He said he could get me two front tires and that they were not making the rears yet. He said he could combine the 4's on the front and the 3's on the back. I was not willing to do that

I went down and ordered the PS3+ZP..

^^^
Common abbreviations:
PSS ZP = Pilot Super Sport runflats, typical original runflats from the factory
AS3+ ZP = All Season 3+ runflats, great touring tire frequently used to replace PSS
PS3+ ZP = ??? Another abbreviation for AS3+ ZP ?

Called Tire Rack and Michelin is still not making the Pilot Sport 4S in aizes for the Grandsport/Z06...so disappointing. Customer service guy had no idea if/when. I was hoping to get something different than the two sets of Michelin SS I have burned through. Guess it is between the Bridgestone Potenza and Cup2s...I am in Norcal so can leave the car in the garage for the few days it raining heavy...

I am looking for a set of rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires and can't find them anywhere. May have to go with another brand until Michelin gets back in the game.
