Not that I use them often but are they really heated? I might feel a very little after 20 minutes but nothing like my other vehicles. Others agree? My second C7 and they were the same so it’s not a malfunction.
We drove the car the other day, I’m in Wisconsin, 40’s outside, very disappointed. My other vehicles actually warm you these do pretty much nothing. Glad it’s a summer car. Now I wonder about the cooled selection.

The ones in my C7 are not as good as those in my Impala, but they do the job of taking the chill out of the seats and feel comfortable in cooler temps.
Both the heat and ventilation is weak IMHO compared to other vehicles I've owned or been in.
Most are disappointed in the ventilation because they are not cooled seats, it just a fan not air conditioning.
I've had several cars with ventilated seats. That has been true of each one of them. They are designed, seems to me, to draw cool air and pump it through the seats. It is subtle, but I sure notice a difference over a long drive.
The seat fans work well to cool you if the AC is on and vents are on floor or bi-level.
The heaters are very slow to warm up due the the extra porous layer for the ventilation. They do put out heat if you wait long enough. My Acadia seats heat up very quickly, but they are not ventilated.
I think heated seats have been tuned down over the years. Probably for safety reasons. Our 2008 Ford truck will cook you, but it has a 10 minute timer built in. Regarding cooling, it is pretty weak. It helps a lot to turn on the AC and direct the air to the floor outlets. I do this when it hits 80 or above, even with the top down.
Agree with above. Heated seats take 30min to feel it. Ventilated are not bad when you have A/C sent to floor.
That's not right. Mine are noticeably warm within a minute. Good point about the ventilated seats - having AC directed to the floor makes it work much better.
both heated and ventilation options works good enough for me, especially for being leather. also overall the heater and ac work very well in my opinion for space inside cabin.
I use mine everyday. They aren’t the best nor are they the worst. They do make my back feel better after they get up to temp. I don’t like how they automatically change from hi to medium though.
The heated seats to me get super hot. The cooled seats on the other hand only work until it gets up into the mid-70's. When the car is super hot, unless you have the AC blasting, they don't really cool you. I get they might be "vented" but still.
Back to heating, I find MOST cars to have heated seats that are WAY to hot.

Depends how you like it. The hotter the better for me.
By the time they heat up, your cabin ambient air temperature is warmed up by the HVAC system. At least that's my assessment of my 2017's heated seats.
Some people like to use em even after the cabin heats up, but I don't. My Mercedes-Benz' have heated seats that I cut off when the cabin warms up, just as the C7's. My MY of Mercedes has DC HVAC heating, to where you get instant heated air, even at cold start up. Not sure I like all that battery drain, but I'm not an electrical expert.

The ventilated seats use ambient cabin air. Not AC treated air. They're only marginally useful to me, for that reason. Once you cool the cabin down, they will recirculate that temperature air through the seats.. So, they may be useful to some in the hot, hot weather. After I cool down with the AC, I cut it off.

I'm happy with mine. Both heat and ventilation work as expected. I use both fairly regularly, but Texas almost requires a ventilated seat in summer.

You guys must have got cars built by the same guy. Do you guys also happen to think the camera's in the car are clear also? Because if you do I would want him to build my C8 because obviously this guy knows something none of the other builders on the line do.
