I have been there many times over 20 years and looked at their cars. They are almost always pristine vehicles, and they are ALWAYS priced at a maximum even for their condition. You'll pay more, but you should get a nice car.

Like Aerovette I only heard great things about corvette world. Which one are you looking at? I would post the picture and ask if any forum members would mind going down to look at it for you.

That's a great idea! @Thanks....

If anyone is truly local to HOU and wouldn't mind, I'd be in "debt" to you.....Private Message me please. Posting it broadly may just get it sold. - HA, HA (though the same may happen with a private pM).

Just looking at the car isn’t the same as a Chevrolet dealer's inspection of it. Pay the extra amount to get it done right.

Thanks Skid Row - just not sure remotely I can get Corvette World to take it to a Chevy dealer and do an inspection.

I can tell you that I bought a C7 last year from Corvette World Dallas. I'm local so I got to look at it, but the car was exactly as represented in their on-line ad. The car was also pretty much at the top of the market for year, condition and miles. But I'm happy. Got a great car and no hassles.

If you're buying the car, you can have anything done to it before it's shipped to you. GMVIS report, Carfax, and a current Chevrolet dealer inspection included. I'd want to know the complete history of the car. There was a hurricane in August 2017 in Houston and the surrounding areas. It could be a flood damaged car, but not reported. Corvette World will work with you on these inspections. The most pristine used car I ever bought was an 8 year old low mileage Mercedes-Benz from Corona Del Mar, CA., and it was priced accordingly. But I got exactly what I was looking for.

Ask them what fees they will add to the price. I contacted them when I was looking for a C7 and they charged both a dealer fee and some type of reconditioning/detailing fee? Let us know what they say. Good luck!

Go to the regional section of the forum and make the request and you likely will find someone right in the area. Houston is in the Southwest section of the form here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/southwest-44/

I'm in the area but I don't know squat about C7s and would not want to be responsible for misguidance.

C3, C4, C5 I can hold my own. Beyond that I am without clue.

If you can't get inspected off-site, there are outstanding independent inspectors who will go to their lot and provide a huge amount of information and guidance...

I like the idea a stated above.
I would also ask if any members here may have owned the particular car that interests you.
Corvette World has been buying up a lot of C7s as of late.
They almost bought my '17 GS

I bought my C7 sight unseen from Corvette World Houston and had it delivered. I paid retail -- but it was worth the premium for the low miles and condition.

I dealt with Matt (sales) and Peter (finance), everything was on the up & up. Thought they were responsive and thorough.

One problem with the shipping the truck broke down and another truck had to pick up the car (load, unload) and they asked me to pay that driver cash when he arrived and they would send me a check and they did exactly as they said.

I set low expectations and found the vehicle to be in much better condition than the pictures and description -- so pleasantly happy.

Also had an independent mechanic do a report and test drive the vehicle ($200). And a forum member was nice enough to run a GM VIS report and send it to me pre-purchase so I could view the maintenance records.

I would consider them again, let me know if you have any questions.

Although not remotely, I bought my 2016 from them.

I would definitely trust them to do a long distance transaction if needed.

Good luck with whatever you decide!

I purchased my C6 and C7 from Corvette World in Houston. Both cars looked new and I couldn't be happier. I also have my maintenance and anything else I do to the car done there and they never disappoint. Matt was the salesman I used both times. They're an honest business and their cars are pristine.

I bought a 2001 C5 in 2002 back when they were known as Corvettes Of Houston. I realize that was decades ago but Matt was my salesman way back then and I think it means something that he is still there. They always have nice cars but as others have mentioned they price them accordingly.
