As a 3LT owner who has the dash, HUD and batwing all delaminating I would take a 2LT car over a 3LT any day of the week. I replaced my batwing with a 2LT one because it was so bad. I personally don't plan to take a chance on a new GM dash. I am taking mine to an auto upholsterer to see if we can save the dash, if not we will replace it with something else. Even if it costs more I feel like it would be worth it.

Default Yup

Some have even had the 3LT dash pad pulled and replaced with the 1LT, synthetic pad because it does tend to repeat......

So, the 1LT and the 2LT each have their specific dash pads? I didn't know that one.

All things being equal, it might make sense to avoid the 3LT, because of the issues it's had.

Hi Kevin,For me HONESTLY it is simple knowing I have the best interior possible. I wanted heated seats but they work like crap. The Heads up display is a must ! HONESTLY AGAIN I wanted the best option package that would come with the model year of any Corvette I was buying used or new. That is Just me but for others that is their own choice that I respect along with the possible problems of the 3LT dash that I have been lucky enough not to have so far. If I did have the problem with the dash I would only replace it with a 3Lt or 3LZ in my case. This is my last New Corvette I will ever purchase and I wanted to build it from the factory exactly the way I wanted with no regrets. Listen I have the Jet Black Interior and most people would not notice the difference from the 3LT in my case 3LZ compared to the 2LT , 2LZ and 1LT interior. I only wanted the 3LT so I would never have buyers remorse. To please myself and myself only is why I purchased the 3LZ interior and options when I had my car built from the factory in 2017 along with the Carbon Fiber dash and the Red interior stitching both no brainers for the money plus you even get red paddles. I always want the most options that were available for that year car even if I do not use them. Makes 100% sense to me but to others maybe 0% sense. Hope that lets you understand my strong feelings as why I wanted a 3LZ loaded C7 Z06. Have a GOODNIGHT Dave

Dash on my 2014 vert is perfect, no doubt some have problems but if you by used and its not happened yet I think that its most likely going to be fine. Mine is for sale in the fore sale section by the way.--Good Luck
