Default Windshield streaking

I don't know if this has been mentioned but I have never been able to get rid of inside windshield streaking. I have tried every type of cleaner, every type of pad/rag combo and even cleaned it several times but always had streaks....until now. I read a little trick about using a Mr. Clean magic eraser pad. Let it soak in water for a few minutes and lightly wring it out leaving water in it. Wipe the inside of the windshield in horizontal then vertical directions and wipe with a paper towel. If this doesn't make you a convert nothing will. Just do not use on tinted windows.......It's phenomenal....

Thanks for the tip. I use Adam's Polishes Glass Cleaner and have been very pleased with it, but may have to give your recommendation a try.

When my 2019 Vette was new I had a difficult time trying to remove the film build up on inside of windshield. On a recommendation I used Adams Brilliant Glaze polish. That took care of the issue and have not had an issue since. The Mr Clean magic eraser sounds like it is an easier solution.

Mine originally had a mild ceramic coating on it, which was great, but now, some of it has worn off, while some has remained, making it look terrible!

Normal window cleaners do not work - maybe the Mr. Clean pad will?

I'm thinking that I will need something mildly abrasive to remove the remaining ceramic coating.

Any ideas?

A magic eraser is a mild abrasive, embedded with a detergent. The product is made of melamine foam, with an extremely hard micro-structure which acts like sandpaper.

It is nearly as hard as glass so be careful.

The secret that was shared by a professional detailer, is to use a waffle weave microfiber towel . That with any glass cleaner, leaves no streaks.
Available on Amazon. These towels are great for glass!
