Default Heat Extractor Size

Is the heat extractor with 2 holes supposed to be larger than the extractor with the 3 holes? Reason I ask is because I ordered one from RPI and waited for it and it gets here and its too large. I ordered a white one and it was ordered for 2 holes. Well when I looked at mine and started the install I noticed mine on my car has 3 holes. It only has 2 screws though, but indeed 3 holes.
Whats so bad is I waited 3 months to get it. Thats even above the frustration of it being the wrong size.

I believe the third hole may be a drainage hole which they have plugged and painted over for aesthetic reasons. I’m staring at my hood as I type. I also have 3 holes. My bigger concern, and I don’t know the answer to this, I have a z06 and you appear to have a GS or Stingray. The hoods and hood vents are different on the z06. I’m assuming the extractor is different too, but again unsure about that answer (sorry). Do your painted and factory extractors look identical when removed from the car? (Other than the 3rd hole)

Sorry to say bud, but I think they sent you a Z06 one. Which sucks because they’re horrible at customer service and getting this right for you.

That’s kinda what I was thinking too. I have a club meeting tomorrow. I will lol at it on a Z06 before I holler line really loud.

What’s the color? I’m assuming it’s white? If Ceramic Matrix, I’d buy it off you

The heat extractor on my 2014 base car has two holes for mounting. I would bet that, like LT4CMG said, what you received was for a Z06.
