Default C7 Front Air Dam????

Looking for some advice and/or feedback regrading the front air dam on a C7....The centre dam was pretty much falling off so I just removed it (centre one only). Just wondering if this needs to be replaced or not? My thinking is it's just going to rip off again when I install a new one as I rub on the pavement every time I enter / exit my driveway, but also understand it serves as a good warning that you are making contact with the ground. Also, does anyone know if I can install this without jacking the car up off the ground.
Appreciate any feedback anyone may have....
Thanks.

It will keep being torn off. I replaced mine once on my 2019, but it's already coming off. I will not replace again. I don't track my car nor do I drive over 150mph. Those are the two areas where the front air dams have a purpose.

It might be a challenge replacing the air dam without lifting the car a bit. Not much ground clearance to see what you are doing without lifting the car.

I was able to replace all 3 sections of the air dam without ramps/lift. It's tight but completely doable along with some patience.

Do an "Advanced Search" here. There have been a lot of pretty recent questions like yours. GM didn't bother putting the thing on because they had nothing better for the installers to do the shift your car was built.
