Just another fun day to play around with some add on modifications and to get out of this oppressive humid heat wave we've been having lately.
A much nicer look for that C7.

And some of the feller's Vettes that stopped by.

Chief of the Boat, Sir please expand on that lift pit you created! I can see some of the general ideas you got going on, but I'd love better photos and details. If you've already did a right up on having the most outstanding garage please point me there. My garage reno is coming soon and I've getting all sorts of ideas.
Job well done sailor! Shore Leave Approved!!

P.S. How many trophies from the show? And drink water!!

The lift was from Greg Smith Equipment from about 15 years ago, price then $1195, current model is ATLAS TD6MR.
Pit was installed when pole barn was built.

Why yes it is, very rare, only one made. Them triple blacks get a tad warm to the touch in this heat, and hotter with the top up.

Definitely a much better look to the C7 with the side skirts and splitter.

My splitter and side skirts would be installed already if I had your setup. But alas I don't, so they are still on the dinning room table.

Those pics are motivating me to get r done.

Very nice of you to offer. Wish I was closer. Seriously thinking about a Quick Jack.

Know which model would be best for a C7 and maybe a future C8?

I'm not familiar with the Quick Jack, just the scissors lift shown above.

I don't see how you had space to drill and pop rivit them without lifting the car up. I used a Dewalt 20V angle drill and barely had room.

Problem I ran into was the rocker panel was bonded to frame in a few spots preventing me from getting the rivit above the rocker panel. Would have been easier with some help.

Ordered a Quick Jack 5000 lift. That will come in handy.

They have a Fathers day promotion for $150 off and free wall hangers going on now.

Finally got time to finish the side skirts. Passenger side went on much easier. I put the 5 screws back in first but did not tighten. This allowed for alignment and made it much easier to do by myself. Instructions say to do the screws last.....wrong.

Spoiler is next. Supposed to cool down Monday and Tuesday.
