First, I hope this thread stays on its intended course, and not become a comparison or shout fest, etc.
I have enjoyed every bit of my time on here and have met many fellow forum members, some of which have become lifelong friendships. Having owned a used C4, C5, C6, and then ordering my new C7, I've loved every bit of the car and it's vast community of fellow enthusiasts.
When the C8 was revealed, I wasn't entirely thrilled with the lack of a manual transmission, and I knew right away I probably would not be owning one. But then something else happened.
As time went on from its reveal, I realized my kids are starting to get bigger and they love cars as much as I do. I wanted to be able to share that hobby with them more then only once in awhile with each separately (Two seater problems). I wanted the sports car, but wanted one the whole family could enjoy. I decided to sell my C7 and picked up a 15' 911 GTS with a stick. Details: Guards Red, Premium Package, Factory aero cup kit, Pasm sport suspension, Center lock wheels. Pics at the bottom.
I just wanted to let everyone know on here how grateful I am for all the advice, and discussions throughout the years, and I appreciate this community for what it does. I'm sure I'll occasionally pop up on here and see what's going on in the Corvette world, till then, enjoy your C7's and any other generation of Corvette you may own, I'll still wave. Thank you everyone!
I’m a long time member on the challenger forumZ, I still am active on there daily and still have a lot to offer to Mopar community. Just because you don’t have the car doesn’t mean you can’t be helpful to someone.
Congratulations! I sort of went the other direction... I've owned 4 Porsches over the years but recently purchased my first Corvette. I think all car enthusiasts should experience driving both the 911 and the Corvette (and the Miata as well) as they're kind of the icons of the sports car world, at least in my mind. They're all very different in driving dynamics and in price point, but they're experiences worth having nevertheless.
I really like the spec on your Porsche. The manual GTS is the exact sweet spot I think. Enjoy in good health!

Great looking Porsche you found and hope you get many years of enjoyment from it. Just because you do not have a Corvette anymore, don't feel like you have to leave the forum - you are still welcome to join in with the conversations and share your Corvette experiences with other members.
Perhaps some day you will decide to return to Corvette ownership.
Beautiful, congrats. As the electric age looks to be forced upon us in the next few years, I'm not that far behind you moving over to the P car. Got my eye on a Taycan.
If the 911 world was a little cheaper, I would exchange my vette for a 991.2 911 C2S vert with a stick. I really like driving a turbo, Unfortunately low mileage ones go for over 100K.
