I am going to finally be installing the rear fascia lights that replace the reflectors. I got the whole set of Smoked Side Marker Lights with the rear fascia lights from JW Motorsports last year. I am looking to use the side marker light pigtail connectors, , rather than splice into the harness, so I can just unplug them, if I need o remove the rear fascia or bumper. I have the stock pigtail connector, but do not know the matching connector that would mimick the side marker portion. An help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The side marker connector is actually part of the marker assembly itself and not a separate connector. I spliced my rear leds to the side marker wiring using spade type connectors so they can be unplugged.
Yes, I am aware the side marker lights have the connector molded into them. I do not want to splice into the harness or into the connector pins. The male and female ends are used in other connectors for GM. I am trying to figure out whether an ABS pigtail, etc. will fit the harness connector end.

Sorry, can't help you with your question. I too just spliced the wires on the rear LED reflector lights onto the side marker light wiring. But, I can see why you would want to be able to easily unplug the connector in the event you have a need to remove the rear fascia.
I ordered some GM Weather Pack connectors on eBay and spliced them into the factory tail light harness. Then I added the Weather Pack connectors to the LED reflector strips. Now all four wires are hooked up so they can be used as running, turn and brake indicator lights as designed. If I need to remove the LED lights or rear bumper all I have to do is unplug the Weather Pack plugs.
tap into the wire using these, I replaced the reflectors with LED's, use them as Brake lights only and tapped into the 3rd brake light, no problems at all

Those are garbage. You especially shouldn't use them in an exterior application where they're exposed to moisture. If you absolutely have to cut and splice, you should use a crimp that has heat shrink and sealing adhesive.
I prefer to use OEM connectors whenever possible. I've got some sources I can check to see if it's possible to build what Trussmark is asking for.
I haven't personally ordered this, so I can't say with 100% certainty this is correct. But based on the data sheets, this is what I'd order if I was going to do this project. They're not very expensive, so the risk is pretty low.
While we're on the topic, these are the insulated crimps GM uses in some of their aftermarket light packages. I got clued in to these when I bought a roof light kit for my Hummer. You crimp them to the wires and then use a heat gun to shrink the tubing and melt the adhesive to seal them against moisture. These are for 22 to 18 ga, but you can find other sizes on that site.
Any GM Techs know if the connector IS only used with the side markers? They say it is the female end, so I would need a correcsponding male end to make my bridge connection to tap into instead of the wiring harness.
Thank you! I looked through other pics, and thought those were what you were referring to. I got the female ends, now I'm ordering the male ends. I'll get pics when I'm done.
And here it is.. I lucked into a GMC we were servicing that had the matching connectors on its' AC compressor. Both male and female sides. Sorry if anyone drives a Sierra and is now missing their AC harness.
