I just had my 2015 triple flushed at my dealership for $569.70 tax included. My extended warranty would not cover the service. I have heard that there is a class-action suit against GM to cover the expense. I was told to get all receipts. Does anyone know if this is true?

There are threads around here that claim the TF is covered under the original manufacturer's 5/60K POWERTRAIN warranty. Sounds like you may be out of that range though.
Now "class action" ? Who knows but for $500, IMO, not worth the effort.

Years ago my I had an SLK320 and that engine had a know issue for the harmonic balancer to come lose. I was aware of the issue and when I took my car in for service at around 80,000 miles the tech mentioned it should be fixed. They did and about 1 year later I received a check from MB for the cost...they recalled it. I think it was 400 dollars. I really think GM should pay for the triple flush...I mean you lived with the issue for years, spent hours attempting to get it fixed, then a fix is finally ready and you have to pay for it. Very bad in my book.
