I have Xpel ultimate on the front of my car and for a while I also ran a Novistretch bra on the car. I did it because it made for a very easy cleanup of bugs - you could just pull it off and throw it in the washer.

Yes, I have PPF and I use one as well on long trips particularly on interstates...you can't control jackwods cutting across your nose really close, and I also use it right after I really clean my car for an event to get it there for minimal touch up. I like the look of the mirror covers so they are always on.
