My '19 GS falls under the time period to have the flush done . Would you have it done even if your car has none of the symptoms ? I just thought it would be a little piece of mind down the road .My warranty expires in June of next year .
I just got back from the dealership after showing them the service bulletin and pointed out where it says no diagnosis beyond my complaint. They pulled the same service bulletin on their computer but want to call GM !
I just had it done. Didn't have any problems with shifting or noticeable shudder or at least that's what I thought. But when riding home after the T flush, I immediately noticed that the shifts were definitely smoother. All I did was request the flush and no questions were asked.. Don't hesitate. Get it done. If you're in the T flush time frame it's going to happen sooner or later. I was told that out of pocket costs would be around $700 if it were done out of warranty Oh, and don't forget the differential. That cost me $200 but I felt it was money well spent.
Had my 19 done just to do it. Dealer said no problem and seemed to have done several. They said they flush to turnover all the old fluid and replace with the new anti friction stuff as per GM. Took about 2 1/2 hours. They never heard of triple flush but assured me all old was replaced with new. So I was in same boat as you and had it done. No cost to me and sleep better?? get it done if you have time.
Here's my dilemma.
My 2017 GS was fine. But at 8500 miles I did a double flush myself because I didn't want a service record of a problem.
Crazy! Anyway, get the flush done preemptively to avoid problems.
Many are against a Range AFM Disable and say '"the car was designed for AFM.... and I like the better mpg".
This year I bought the Range device to avoid the stresses the transmission and torque converter get from AFM On/Off vibrations. V8 is fine with me!
Just my opinion, I am not highly knowledgeable on the issue, but want to avoid problems. I even changed the rear-diff fluid(glad because 3/4qt low).
Note: I have read that some design features have been added to the drivetrain for AFM vibrations. Better motor-mounts, torque-tube-design, rubber-bushing near converter,, ...
Time for you to go see the service manager or the general manager. The TSB does not say they have to confirm it. I believe it is TSB-18-355 dated April 2020

I don't know if I want to get in a PI$$ING contest with my dealer . Not that they would do anything shady with my car but ......
I just called Abel Chevy in Rio Vista Calif .to have it done no questions ask . Three hour drive but he said they have done many of them . I need to drive her anyhow !!
Look for another dealer if this one will not do it. It clearly states done at owner's request, do not have to prove anything or be test driven. When I had mine done, showed the dealership a copy of the TSB and was done no questions asked under powertrain warranty.
I had to go to 3 different dealers to get mine done. I guess the first 2 service writers can't read, but the 3rd one did and she also told me I had 2 free oil changes that expire in Feb. 2022 which I was not aware of. I'll take my car back to dealer # 3 and get my oil changed this fall.

You don’t have to get into pissing contest . I would ask to talk to service manager Ask him to read second paragraph in correction area on first page of bulletin. Where it stated no further diagnosis beyond Customer complaint is needed. I talked to my dealer service manager before making a appointment and told him I would like this done under warranty even though my car has no symptoms of shudder. I want correct fluid that GM now recommends in tranny and to prevent possible future problems. If your service manager says no still then as others said go some where else ! Just make sure service manager was reading the latest update to bulletin where it stated no further diagnostic is needed beyond customer request. They may have read a earlier version of bulletin that I don’t believe it stated that.
I also did this at my GMC dealer so they would complete Triple Flush on my 18 GMC Sierra and again no symptoms. I lust wanted correct GM fluid in tranny. No problems getting that vehicle done either.
Good luck !

Thanks ! Even though it is 200 miles one way and a 3 hour drive I think I will take it to Abel close to SF . Its just extra time and money for gas but they said they have done a lot of them and my dealer doesn't even know about the service bulletin .
Had no problems with my dealer in florida, don mealey. Dropped car off, free rental, a few hours later and car was perfect. No vibration. Best thing i ever did.

i had mine done there as well. Unfortunately it was out of the warranty period by just a few months so I had to pay. They do good work and have a great reputation, all went well.
Do you the build date of your '19? Mine was made in December '19 so it already had the good stuff in the trans. I had the '16 done a little while ago and so far all seems good. I hope it stays that way because I'm leaving Sioux Falls in the morning for the Black Hills 😁
