I am looking at purchasing some new rims for my 2016 Z06. I have never purchased rims before, so can someone advise what should I expect price wise for a complete set of rims? Not looking for knock-off or cheap rims, I have those on the car from GM.
Looking for nice, sturdy, dependable rims. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Alot depends on your price range to spend. You could start with this thread or others on this forum. It is a common question https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...et-wheels.html
One of the best is Forgeline. You get what you pay for.
The Best Alloy from the Best Country
Below is a list of wheels people consider (Im sure there are more not listed). You probably should have a price range in mind and then look at wheels that fit in that range. If possible I would suggest going to a car show that has lots of corvettes and look at wheels as online pictures dont always do the wheel justice.
Forgeline
BC Forged
Titan7
Forgestar
HRE
Signature
CCW

There's also more offset available as well when considering. I ran an offset that pushed the edge out to the fender line. Needed an alignment to get it all within spec but the car has a wider stance now which is better suited for track use. I did the same thing on my 4th gen camaro which I pushed the wheel line to the edge of the fender. It still clears the fender in track mode under hard g turns.
Should always re-check alignment when mounting new tires.
I'd add LA Motorsports to that list for stock looking forged.
Expect to spend around 4 to 5k for a set where companies like BC forged, titan 7 and la motorsports have the most affordable pricing while hre has some pricier even more durable options available.
Do an "Advanced Search" across all the C7 sections here and you will find untold numbers of relevant threads. (btw, commonly called "wheels") All the best.

Go to Tire Rack, input your car, and they will show what wheels they sell that will fit. If you are also going w/ new tires they do a great job of installing TPS sensors, mounting, balancing, and shipping to you. The mount/balancing is free.
