Default How much to ask?

So, got notified today that my new C8 vert is going to be made on Aug4th. NCM delivery on Aug27th
I'm currently in a 2019 C7 1LT coupe, with 3200 miles. Car is immaculate. Garaged since new. Never out in rain.
Torch Red, 2 tone black/red seats. 8 speed auto.

NO mag ride
Car is just outside Las Vegas, NV.
I've been watching the local ads, and prices being asked seem WAY out there. Mid $60's to mid $80's for under 10k mile cars, mostly 1 or 2LT's. Some GS's but mostly just Stingrays.
So, in the current market, what's a FAIR price to ask for my never seen rain, always garaged, washed after every trip car?
I was thinking $58,500 would be fair.
Am I nuts? Or in the ballpark?

Get it valued by Carvana, vroom, car max , KBB. KBB had offered me 27.5k for my 18 Mustang GT but after i responded to a local dealer , i ended up getting 30k … so just gotta do alot of quote searching.

I have found KBB usually seems to low ball prices when I have searched.

KBB thought my 2016 3LT Z51 Convertible, Magnetic Ride, A8 Transmission, with a lot of extra factory RPO's was worth $38,000, Carvana was $53,000, and Carmax was $54,000. A dealer offered me $55,000.

I would check around!

Check with Carvava, Vroom, KBB, etc and see where the numbers land. And congrats on the pending build of your C8.

2019 C7s are the most valuable and returning a lot. Do not give it away.

That's right on the money if you ask me. I quick search on Cargurus shows them between $58k and $62k but most of those are dealers. You're probably not going to get the same money as a dealer so your price sounds about right. If any of those quotes Jack suggested are close to your number, you might want to just sell it to them. It's much easier than a private sale which can be troublesome with the tire kickers, people having trouble getting financing, needing permission from their wife, trying to arrange transport, etc..

OP, did the dealership you ordered it through offer you a trade in value? In today crazy market IMO your asking price seems more than fair for such a nice car.

Without Z51 it takes a hit. I'd try to get 60 for it, so price accordingly.

So, I put a quickie ad up on Craigslist. Was supposed to be listed at $58,500. For some reason, it came out at $57,500.00 Had a bunch of calls and texts. Wound up doing a deal with a guy from Orange county CA for the $57,500. He's flying in tomorrow to buy and drive it home.
If he doesn't pan out, I'll list it on Bring a Trailer for a week and see how that goes. Maybe list it here as well. Based on the number of calls I got off the CList ad, I'd probably relist it at $60 and see what the market can bear.
Not in any real hurry to sell it as I can't take delivery on the C8 til the 27th.

That sounds just right.....I got a quote from Vroom and it was close to that, and I have a 19 Stingray 2000 miles and never seen rain.
