We have a Z51 color matched rear spoiler on our 2017 C7. The Mrs. is wanting a little more of an aggressive look and is thinking of a stage1 or stage 2 rear spoiler. I see ACS has kits where you can add winglets to a Z51 spoiler to achieve the same look. The big question is how tacky does that look? We don't want to look like a bunch of teenagers modding out their hot rod. If it's a crappy look we'd rather just buy a stage1 or stage2 spoiler.
We have a silver vette so any pics with this mod would be helpful.
Cant help you with the winglet add ons for the Z51 spoiler. But can you send me whatever pills your wife is taking that encourages mods. Joking of course
The winglets do not look tacky, but they must be on the GS/Z spoiler. The Z51 spoiler should be left alone or removed to add the Stage 2 or 3 spoiler. Go with either design you guys prefer, ACS makes quality pieces.
I looked at those and they look tacky.
They don't add much aggressiveness to the car to justify the price.
My next mod is going to be a stage 3 spoiler from EOS . All my splitter, side skirts, and splash guards came from them. Very happy with the products and the price point.
Their stage 3 rear spoiler is about $ 450.
Since the rear bumper has to come off anyway, I am going with the stage 3 and take the Z51 spoiler off instead of adding to it.
Thanks for the input guys! I'll check out the EOS stuff.
In terms of what pills she takes, I'm still trying to figure that out. She came from a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL that we built the heck and wheeled the heck out of. She wasn't satisfied with 37" tires and wanted 40s instead and she actually wheeled the Jeep hard enough to justify the desire but the price tag that comes with 40s on Dana 44 axles starts to hurt if you want to build them so you don't break them. Dana 60s/tons are the best bet but that comes with a whole other price point.
Now she has a new toy to play with and we plan on taking it to Vegas to the drag strip to have some fun with it. Still have my Jeep so we still get to wheel too.

Speaking Jeep is Greek to most us!
I have found Car Gals are pretty agressive with what they like? Guys can be too but generally know more about what work is involved for the mods? Car Gals really have a good eye for what looks good?
My wifes interest is not in, near, or anything to do with cars?? she does not even like riding in my Corvette or Mustang ? When she bought her last Vehicle she wanted 8 seat belts and a heated steering wheel??? all she's interested in is pushing the start engine button and go. I am sure glad there are so many different people!

Saw a Grand Sport today at teh dealer with the stage1 package on it and IMO if you are going to go the route of adding a splitter, sides and rear spoiler the stage 2 is the way to go. I'm liking the clean look on my wife's vette with the Z51 spoiler OR go ***** out with the stage2.
Ultimately it's her call but at least I got to see one in person.
