Almost Car Fire
Went to a car show today in Utica, MI and came upon a nice white C5 so I was admiring it. Saw some smoke coming out of the passenger window? Smoke out of the passenger window of a parked C5 with no one inside at an outdoor car show??!! Didn't make sense. When I walked around to the passenger side I noticed he had a nice chrome wheel in a box propped up on his passenger seat that was for sale. The smoke which was about to be a fire was coming from his passenger side pillar and sun visor area from the sun beating against his beautiful chrome wheel reflecting on to his inner plastics on the pillar and roof area. I quickly adjusted the chrome wheel to stop it from hitting the plastic and creating a fire. Wow!! All the beautiful cars around his car would have been toast!! Luckily he left his phone number on the box top of the wheel that was for sale which I called and texted. He showed up shortly after and I showed him the melted plastic on his pillar and visor area. Crazy what might have happened!!
