MXS 3.8 – One of CTEK´s entry level models, it provides all round charging through a 7-step charging cycle that includes a desulphation feature and maintenance charging.
MXS 4.3A $104 on Amazon
MXS 5.0 – A state-of-the-art 8-step charger with a special reconditioning function. It also features battery diagnosis so you know the state of your battery’s charge and whether it can hold its charge properly. As with all CTEK chargers, it has an optimised charging mode for when more power is needed during cold weather.
MXS 7.0 – A great universal charger with slightly more power, including a battery capacity of 14-150Ah up to 225Ah for maintenance. This is an 8-step charger with a power supply mode so the battery can be disconnected without losing or damaging the vehicle’s important electronic configurations.
Pick your poison. I believe that I have 3 MXS 4.3As in my garage.

If you absolutely have to have the C-Tek, it's a great unit with hundreds of users. I have used a Black & Decker Model BM3B for the last six years on my C7 and it works fine, for considerably less money (can easily be found for about 25 bucks on sale). The C-Tek is about $125. They do the same thing. Your choice.
OEM CTEK which, IIRC, amounts to a simplified CTEK US 0.8 on my C7Z. CTEK MULTI US 7002 for everything else in the garage. Happy with the performance of both.
Other options about which I've heard good things include BatteryTender and NOCO.

the Ctek model that comes with the car is the real entry level model! But it has a Corvette written on it…..

And it works, so I've just been using the one that came with the car four years ago.
The male plug started losing the connection after a year and the dealer replaced it under warranty.
Slightly used ones are available pretty cheaply.
The one that comes with the car has no user-selectable settings, apparently GM decided that giving people setting choices means the people can select the wrong choices, so it's got the setup that works best for a stock C7 & battery.
I have another CTEK with the selections, in case I need them for something.
Ctek with a DC extension cable. Got it on Amazon. Perfect. I use several Black and Decker around the house for other batteries. Also use a Guest tripple battery. The Ctek is the best by far and well worth the money.
Model:
CTEK (56-353) MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Battery Charger
Also, I needed the Ctek adapter for the connector located at the rear passenger side.

The Black and Decker appears to lack desulphation and other features of the CTEKs, but I have no reason to doubt it does basic battery maintaining just fine.

I have been using the Black & Decker battery tender for my C7 since 2014. It has never let me down.

I use the Ctek maintainer available through GM. However it is cheaper if bought from places other than the dealer or you can find them often in the C7 Parts for Sale section.
