Question for all those who have installed a front splitter. Due to living in a condo, I don't own a jack.
When installing a front diffuser with the pre-drilled holes into the existing 8-10 bolts under the bumper, how important are the additional rivets/self tapping screws for the edge closer to the front of the bumper? I feel like 8-10 bolts for what is essentially a piece of plastic and a fair amount of double sided tape should be more than enough. Would that suffice?

When I replaced mine I was able to install the rivets and screws without jacking or ramps so with the right rivet gun you may be able to get it done. Not fun but doable. Tape may work but for how long? YMMV. Good luck...

I just used the existing bolts for installation. This can easily be done without lifting the car. However it might depend on which splitter you use if rivets are required or not.

I didn’t use the rivets, only the bolts.
20k miles and it is still on the car.
BTW, pick up a couple of 2x12” wood boards to drive up on. May help.
I bought a right angle driver and it is still a pita w/o raising the front a little bit.
