I've never had a vehicle emotionally impact me more than my 1st and only Corvette. I've put a lot of love into it.
(Story: my landlord sold his house and gave me 30days to vacate. 4yrs of perfect ontime payments. Fixing **** around the house without needing to contact him. 30-days. Shitty person, but it's his property).
This Corvette Forum community is pretty friggin fantastic. I'm taking my money and moving to ... ? ****, I dunno. East?
Its should not be all bad and I cant blame the owner too much. This is absolute the best time to sell your house... hell the best time to sell your vett and make lots of money. If I didnt have 2 young snots and live next to the school I could easily make 200K. If it was just us I would have sold this place.. live in a dump till the market blows up and then go shopping. Everywhere I drive all these places are building houses as fast as they can..lol.. 30 days seem a little fast though, Check the laws in your area or maybe work something out to where you get the house ready and can show it off to by a little time.. I dont know too much about it.
We are living in crazy times for sure, just hit the political section of the forum. lol
Thank you for your service. Sorry life through you curve, but we know how to make the best things, and hope there is shining light at the end of the tunnel.

Naa, I can't blame him at all; however, how he did it was pretty shitty (sounds so familiar ... ). We were friends before he became my landlord. I'd expected a bit more notice ... maybe? Legally - and according to the lease - he's within in rights. All good. Hrmph.
I can move - hell, I spent a career moving. The biggest regret I will have (and I've heard it before) is selling my Corvette. Not just any Corvette, but my first. Chevy dealer gave me a great/stupid deal (yup, its well within the outrageous prices I've seen with C7s) I think mostly on the tips I got here. @Steve Garrett was a pretty good indirect carbon-fiber motivator, which helped the overall aesthetics and what the dealer said "the right selling bits".
Nope, didn't get all my performance mods back, but I had a hell of a lot of fun doing it! I'll do another Corvette, but it won't be a C8. It'll be another C7. More than likely a Z06.

Thx Y'all... #BeSafe
Thanks for the kudos....I can always help you with Carbon Fiber for your next Vette!
Good luck and the future will be better; when you're ready to buy car and/or house prices will have dropped/returned to a more realistic range and you'll benefit greatly.
Why are you selling the Vette? You need the money to move? Get out of Colorado and move to Texas or Florida.. Less BS there. I'm going to move there myself in the next year or 2. Also, it might be the best time to sell your Vette, but.. You'll be without one for a long time, unless you pay the inflated price on one. That would defeat the purpose.. Also, China is going to make a move on Taiwan very soon.. Why, cause they can and guess where all the chips are made? Trump would already have a ship off the coast. Biden F's up Afghan and now the whole world is about to be in chaos.. China is in his pocket, the Democrats/Communists don't care, they just care about power. Sorry, not trying to get political, but the point is ... we are F'd! These people that got elected/cheated don't care about us at all! Otherwise, we would still be energy independent and we would have chip manufacturing plants here! Why the F would you outsource stuff like that? Idiots! Keep your Vettes or you aren't going to have one anytime soon.. Maybe ever again if you want to pay the super inflated prices. Plus, look online.. A million Vettes out there for sale and none are selling at those prices. Its not like you can list it for 60k and your going to get that.

Sorry to hear you have to move and sell your Vette. Life can sometimes spring very unexpected surprises on you. Best of luck in whatever you do next and hopefully some day you will be back in a Vette.
As long as I rented, I was moving every couple years for one reason or another. Once I bought a home I could afford, I put down roots. It's been 36 years in this home. I've got some awesome Oaks and Live Oaks came with the then 8 year old house. It's been home to a couple diesel RVs, 1) Lincoln, 3) Mercedes-Benz turbodiesel sedans, and 1) new 2017 Corvette.
