After 3 1/2 years and 37,000 trouble free miles I finally needed to get some warranty work done on my C7. And it was a bit of a doozy!
On the plus side, it looks like I might have gotten a free modification! (the LT4 flex plate) and it allows looks like they replaced 9L of transmission fluid so I got a free fluid change too (not that I was having any issues with the transmission's behavior on the original fluid)
Hopefully this is the only major repair this car will ever need!

With that much work required, you've got to be glad you did have a warranty in place. Best of luck with the car and hope you do not have any more problems for a long, long time.

Thanks Jack! The service advisor told me this would have been a $3000 repair bill if it wasn't covered!
I notice now that the back end seems a little more twitchy though, it kicks sideways a little bit over certain bumps. Could they have done something wrong when reassembling the car that might be responsible for this? I don't believe my base model has a rear sway bar though, so it couldn't be that.

I can tell you on my 19 C7Z this was a little over $6k repair bill. The part alone was $4600 for the new torque tube.
