Default Seat Exit Position return question

My driver's seat moves from the programmed exit position to the programmed driving position as soon as I open the door, not when I start the engine on my new-to-me 2014 C7 Z51. Is there a way to fix this? I currently have to hold the exit position button to get the seat back to where I can easily get in the car.

Very, very strange! All I can suggest is to reprogram the exit, driver 1, and driver 2 settings.

You have to go into the settings menu on the infotainment screen. There's an option for when to move the seat at start rather than when you open the door.

This is how 2014 M7 originally worked. Ask the dealer to pull up document PI1245 and load the software update. I wouldn't be surprised if they charge you an hour's labor. PI1245 is noted in the following document.

https://www.corvetteactioncenter.com...tics-1299.html

I had this software loaded on my 2014 and instead of On/Off the choices changed to OFF/ At door open / At ignition on. You can push the start button without clutch to recall position.

ORIGINAL 2014 M7

AFTER PI1245 software update:

Thanks, this appears to be what I need. I only get the On and Off choices on the menu in my car.

See post #4. He needs a software update first!
