Driver seat leather getting worn at entry point edges
Still under BTB warranty, car has only 5500 total miles and I've only had it 9 months. It's happening on seat back edge and slightly on the lower cushion edge. Any thoughts on whether this a BTB eligible item?

Depending on how bad it is it might be. How are you entering the car? Corvettes require a different entry method than your other cars.

Agreed. Learned from my C5....open door, turn sideways with your back to the interior, sit down then swing your legs in....no wear on the lower side bolster. Same when getting out.

I've seen the videos of the "special entry/exit process" for the C7. I just don't buy the story that it can be normal wear and tear. This is low use vehicle. 3845 miles in just 10 months. That's about 14 miles a day per 30 days use. I think this is a quality issue. I'll see what the Dealer says when I take in for service next week.

It can't hurt to approach the service advisor and ask that the seat covers be replaced under warranty. Hopefully your dealer will go to bat for you.

Sit and swivel, swivel and stand. It does make a difference.
I had a '14 with 120,000 miles on it and the seats looked brand new. I bought an '18 with 1,800 miles on it and the seat side bolster already had noticeable wear. I have no idea how the PO got in and out of the car, but I've put 25,000 miles on it, and the wear has not gotten any worse.
Ingress/Egress technique is important!

I put my right leg in (and shake it all about - no, just kidding).... then, I swing my butt in to sit down, then swing in the left leg. To exit I put my left leg out and then, in one motion, just stand up using the left leg to raise me. Once I am up I just bring the right leg out. I no longer have my '15 C7, but at 97,900+ miles the seat looked fine....oh, I was 79 when I used to do that. (Got in and out of my '19 the same way)....

This shouldn't happen on the driver's side if you are careful. I get in by "stepping in" with my right leg and then I plop down in the middle of the seat and swing my left leg in to distribute my weight to the center of the seat.. This is how I "teach" my passengers to get in as well.
My prior Z51 was brand new and the passenger seat side bolster was wrinkled up because I let several people get in the car for a ride and that was a big mistake because a few of the heavier friends crushed the side bolsters by plopping down on the side of the seats to get in. I had to look at that poor wrinkled seat with regrets every time I got in the car. It reallly stood out on the adrenaline red leather.
That being said, You could throw a wet towel on the seat and get it into the hot sun so the wrinkles tighten up or eventually disappear. Otherwise you'd have to take the seat cover off and hot steam it from the inside to work the wrinkles out.

Guys I appreciate the feedback for sure. But please no more instructions on how to get in and out of the car. I got that. The quality of seat material is not good. Reminds me of my C6 seat issues. I will attempt to get the dealer to deal with this issue under BTB warranty.

I just had my passenger seat back cover replaced under BTB warranty on my 19 GS because the plastic emblem was broken, went to dealer he took a picture of the car all four corners and a picture of the broken emblem and submitted to GM. They said they would let me know in a few days if it was covered. They called a few days later said it was covered and ordered the part. I would think if they cover a broken emblem they would cover a worn seat cover.
