Installed LG 1 7/8 long tube headers and catless xpipe about a year ago. no issues and love them. recently while doing some spirited mountain driving, the steering started feeling tight and making light grinding sound.
found the steering shaft near headers is actually now touching the headers once they are hot and the paint has come off due to the grinding. any suggestions on how to fix this? seems to only do it when turning right under power. so the motor must be twisting into the steering shaft. could better motor mounts help?
