Default Tire choice x availability

Ok so, another thread on tire choice....I apologize in advance. I have scraped the forum, which has helped understand my question a little better at least..

I'll be receiving my '19 Z06/7 in ~2 weeks. It's near new, with Cup 2's currently mounted at 759km. Not likely to be tracking the car. I live in Raincouver BC, and she will be driven wet (because if I don't I'll never drive the damn thing), so wet weather performance is important.
Also to note - I seem to have a special relationship with sharp objects on the road. Motorcycles, cars, whatever...I find a way to pick it up.
Covid has caused a tire shortage over the continent it seems, so I am somewhat limited in availability. I don't want to drive the Cup 2's in the cold/rain any longer than I need to after I receive the car.

Considering below:
Michelin AS 4 ZP - price quoted at $2990 CAD + tax 1wk +- lead
Conti DWS 06 - can't seem to find any, yet
Pirelli P Zero AS - same as above

I may be entirely shoehorned into selection based on availability alone, however, considering the wet/cooler climate I live in, what would YOU choose as your tire of choice?
Note my penchant for flats - though I'm not against carrying some gunk and an inflator with me.

Any other tires I should consider, or am omitting that I shouldn't be?

Thx
PS those Cup2's will be up for sale once they're off, along with wheels.

The Michelins are the best of your choices. Make sure you purchase a tire replacement warranty if your prone to running over sharp things.

Good point on warranty!

I'm wondering about the look of the Conti's - I definitely prefer the sharper sidewalls of the Michelins...Is it possible up the tire width a size or two to make up for that?
What I hear is rears are ~1" narrower than michelins, so 2 sizes would mostly make up the diff.

The stock tires on my GS were iffy in the rain. Make sure to use Weather mode when you drive with stock tires on wet streets. I do with my AS 3+ ZP, also, in case it is needed.

Yeah no doubt. Not too excited about taking the Cup2's on damp cold roads for any longer than I have to.
Wheels are at least 8 weeks out so might have to swap rubber a couple times

Both great tires! AS4+ is an improved version. Improved the rubber compounds for better performance across the same usage patterns. Michelin has a lot of great info on their site about the changes/improvements. Those will me my go to tires when the time comes...

A/S3+ is very popular for its all-around performance on the Z06, I run them on mine in the colder months here and they're a great tire. Either A/S3+ or A/S4 will be superior to the others on your list imho.

I just put on a set of the continentals...The local Wheaton store found some sets in Calgary for myself and a friend.

They are nice but are non run flats.

In hindsight I think I should have gone with the run flat AS4.

Mr. Impulse, please don't let us all think you put yourself in the same sinking boat as the horse with no name ! Thank God I am not basing this question as to whether I purchase one or the other tire as I already made my decision prior being totally confused.

The difference is the AS3+ has been discontinued. If you have damage next year that requires a tire replacement, you won't be able to get another one.

Went with the Conti DWS06+ !

Anyone know of a good/compact on-the-road inflator/patch kit just in case? As these aren't ZP.

I realize that factor. I was talking construction, performance etc. Maybe that has to be answered by a Michelin spokesperson.

According to Michelin, the AS4+ has 4% better dry braking, 5% better wet braking, and 10% better traction on snow-covered roads vs the AS3+.
