I’ve got a 2014 with z51 magnetic ride. The lower bolt backed out and I can’t find the part number. Anyone know where I can find that out? All the sites show number 11547031, which isn’t right.
How in the hell did it back out? that should never happen.
thinking that was never torqued down in the first place. Bought the car with 11,000 miles on it last February. Still had the original tires and battery in it! Tires even had matching tread depth and date codes front and rear. Noticed a rattling sound about a month ago, but couldn’t find it. Then it got real bad so I parked it, lifted it and saw what happened. Very odd.
Attachment with GM diagnosis for "how much leaking is acceptable" on a shock.
Photos can be hard to interpret, but to me that shock looks due for replacement.
On our 2017 Z51, all 4 mag ride shocks were replaced under warranty at about 25k miles.
