Over the weekend my HUD on my 2017 Stingray has gone out. I looked at the fuse (fuse box under hood fuse #25) and it is good. I also tried all the control buttons to no luck. Is there anything else I can check before I have to take it to the shop? I have the extended warranty I purchased when I purchased the car, so hopefully it’s covered. Thanks on any advise!
Additionally, if the battery is the original, when they start going south the gremlins seem to arrive... Beyond 3-4 years is playing Russian roulette with batteries, especially in hot or cold climates.
I had some of the STRANGEST cocktail of electrical and system abnormalities caused by an old battery. As soon as the new one was in, everything was good. So, it COULD be the battery. I don't recall hearing about too many issues with the HUD...it seems to be a solid unit overall.

Hopefully it is just the battery starting to go bad. If not, I would think the HUD would be a covered item under an extended warranty, but you should be able to read the fine print in your warranty documents to confirm.
