I just noticed that a small screwdriver is visible behind my '18 Stingray grille. My guess is that the dealership left it there when they replaced one of my front cameras. It's sitting right in front of the radiator. and is too large to pull through the gaps in the grille. There are no obvious openings that I can pull it through. Would removing the underside of the front clip give me access to the screwdriver? Or is there another way to access it without pulling the front clip. If not, I'll just live with it until I go back to the dealer for service. I'm sure they would like their screwdriver back! 😄
Do you have a Stingray grill? If so the small panel in front of the tow hook receiver pulls off. That might give you enough room to remove the screwdriver. Good luck that would drive me crazy knowing it's there.

I believe that if you take that access panel loose from under the fascia you should have enough room to remove the screwdriver. I have not had that panel off on mine, but can’t imagine it being blocked off with the panel removed or loosened.

Thanks to all for the replies but....DING! DING! DING! We have a winner! The panel over the tow hook receiver popped right out and I was able to magnetically remove the screwdriver. I'll be sure to return it to the rightful owner the next time I hit the dealership.😉 I swear to God that these Vette's have more hidden panels and secret spaces than a haunted house! Thanks again for the tip. It made my day. 🤜🏻💥🤛🏻
I'd normally say to take it back, but obviously the dealer's Service Dept is not great. If they got your car back together once and it's okay, I'd be leery of letting them have a second chance at screwing it up. If nothing else worked to remove the tool, I'd be temped to reach in with a long-handled brush and paint it dull-black. Then, it do much the same with some black silicone to "lock" it in place so it couldn't rattle around.
Yeah, I'm going to send "Johnny the Corvette Tech" a ransom note. 😄👍🏻 By the way, in defense of Johnny, the dealership is short of techs and long on work. When you're constantly drawn away to other jobs throughout the day things like this can happen. The work that he performed was very complex. He replaced my dash, installed a new center stack and replaced a front camera. Everything came out perfect. You wouldn't even know the Vette was taken apart. With the exception of the screwdriver, of course!😂
