Car charger

Instead of the C-Tec chargers what are you using? Or should I say what amp output size charger are you using?

Sorry, I use the one from GM. It has worked very well for nearly three years (since I bought the car).

Pretty much any trickle charger will work regardless of the brand. I have a c-tech one thats non GM branded and it works just fine.

I used to use my Battery Tender Plus (1.25 amps) but now that's my backup for the one GM provided with the car.

I have been using a local brand for many years, it has an output of 2A and also 4A, I set it to the 2A.

Depends if you are looking for a tender or a charger/tender. I use the Genius G3500 which does both. 3.5amp charging rate then trickles. Great product.

I rely on CTEK smartchargers, with a MULTI US 7002, a

GM 22969090

Not really. There's a big difference between a trickle charger and a smart charger...
Trickle chargers provide slow/steady charge, but never shutoff, so they're prone to overcharging.
Smart chargers automatically switch between multiple modes to optimize the life of several battery types (e.g., Wet, MF, AGM, GEL and Ca) without the risk of overcharging.

If you're running CTEKs, you have smartchargers, not trickle-chargers.
