Interior R/V mirror replacement
I need to replace my R/V mirror due to severe usability issues. Can't see how of it during the day as you can tell from the attached pic:
Been going round and round with Chevy trying to get them to replace out of safety concerns but you can imagine where's that go me. Ended up buying my own replacement mirror from GM OEM which was about $100 cheaper than from the dealer. Doesn't look complicated but I want to be on safe side before I start the removal of the old one:
Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Stick a screwdriver or similar object through the metal bracket to gain leverage.
Twist the mount 90 degrees.
Swap mirrors and reverse your steps. The hardest part is getting the plastic cover off without marring the edges.
