2016 Corvette.I looked up on the net for a GM Chevrolet extended warranty. A big Chevrolet logo showed up on a web page with different warranties available as if they were GM, but at the bottom of the page it says AMT Warranty. Anyone know if this is legit as GM or a scam. Also anyone know where to get a real GM warranty At a fair price.. I have been reading about these valve spring issues and some other very expensive repaires and no way will I be able to afford to spend thousands upon thousands to repair those issues out of pocket. Thanks,,V Link to site..https://www.chevrolet.com/protection.../purchase-plan

The two common sellers of extended warranties on the forum are Dennis Fichtner at Laurel Chevy and Todd Sutherland at MacMulkin Chevy. Give either one, or both, a call and discuss your needs and get a quote.

Best 2 sources. I got mine from Dennis. Great guy to work with. He guided me to the best solution for my needs. My opinion is stick to GMEPP warranties... Good luck!
I bought the "chevrolet protection plan" from Todd Sutherland. It is literally a service contract by "AMT Warranty Corp". Mine is good 'til 2028.
To my understanding, the contract is visible in GM's service system, but, the contract will NOT appear as a warranty in Chevrolet's owner center... https://my.chevrolet.com/

To my understanding, a "real GM warranty" that you seek does NOT exist, except for extending the bumper-to-bumper warranty available when purchasing a new vehicle.
The "extended warranties" on chevrolet websites simply refer to service contracts by AMT Warranty.
The value of buying from Dennis or Todd is the price. If you walk into a finance managers office, they will add 100% markup, and tell you that they are only making $100 on the sale of the warranty. I did exactly that... I wanted to listen to a finance manager lie to me before I purchased from Todd (at a good price).
I think the GMEPP stands for "GM extended protection plan".
