I just recently bought a 2015 corvette C7. It will be stored where there is no electricity. So can’t put a battery tender on the battery. What is the next best thing to do? Disconnect the battery? Remove the battery?

Take the battery home with you and keep it topped up and warm. Having a battery die in a car is bad for the relays in the car. As the voltage drops the relays can go into clicking spasms that reduce their lifespan and can damage them. Also, letting the battery die and get exposed to cold will shorten the life of the battery if not destroy it.

Thanks!! So removing a battery and having it out all winter is OK for a C7? Keep hearing about the battery tender and nothing about removing the battery.

Yes, it will be ok. It may be that the PCM loses some long term fuel trim info but it will quickly gets its footing back. Far better than letting it die a slow death and sitting that way.

Actually either disconnecting or removing is the only other option. If possible I'd store the battery on a tender even though it's not completely necessary. They last longer on a tender, and it would take me a minute to connect one. I have two tenders. One is the Corvette OEM with the plug. The other is the Battery Tender Plus with the big alligator clips. But if you just want to disconnect and not remove, that would be totally fine.

PS: Don't forget to index the windows when you put the battery back in. Lower them all the way then all the way up. Done.

Be sure to verify that the metal key will open the hatch / trunk before touching the battery!

Also check cable release to driver's door!

You will want to leave the window on the driver's door down 1/2" so it clears the seals when you open and close the door with the battery disconnected.

Good advice above and it does sound like your only choice is to remove the battery, store it at home and connect a battery tender to it.

I would remove the battery & put it on a tender at home, I would also add some fuel stabilizer to the tank & take a 30 minute drive before you put the car away

I agree there isn't much you can do. The only other idea is to put a small solar panel that keeps the battery topped off. Do something to keep the rodents out!!
