I know where the rheostat for the dimmer is, but it doesn’t do anything when I turn it, including not turning on the interior lights.
I hope I’m either overlooking something obvious, or it’s a simple fix like a fuse.
My cluster stays lit at max brightness all the time, it’s really annoying when I drive after dark. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't think a fuse would cause the issue, but an issue with the **** itself I would think is more likely.
The dash only dims at night, and is full brightness during the day.
Right, I've tried adjusting it at night. It's my daily so with DST gone I leave work after dark every day. It's pretty blinding when I first get in.
Plus like I said, it doesn't turn on the interior lights when it clicks at the end of it's rotation either.

Blinding!, may want to get an eye appointment, you may have a more serious issue than just a dimmer switch.
As far as C7 issues go, it could be much-much worst.

I said it's blinding when I first get in. Then my eyes adjust. I do not need an eye appointment.
Not sure how that pic relates to my original issue. If you have some sort of problem you should create your own post.
Don't tell me how much worse off I could be. If you have nothing constructive to add, I'd suggest not posting at all.
I just paid good money for it, and the car should not already have issues after less than a week of ownership.
Thankfully I bought a bumper to bumper warranty on it so it's just a hassle and not a financial issue.
It's not that I'm taking it too seriously. It's just that I posted about it looking for help.
Telling me it's no big deal is not help.
What's this forum for if not to seek help when you have an issue.
I appreciated the folks that contributed, and called out the guy who just wanted to bleat about his own issue because it was more severe than mine.
If I had bought a $2k jalopy, it would be an expected minor issue.
$60+k, I'd like my dash lights to work properly.
Kevin is a good egg and knowledgeable. He is merely enjoying your hyperbole and teasing you with the picture of the torn down car, which is not his.
Of course, you would like your new-to-you car to be flawless, but little things like this happen - nothing to get upset about.
I, and others, have helped you to the extent we can. The problem is likely with the rheostat/switch itself. Just take the car in and get it addressed.
In the meantime, go take your toy out, focus on enjoying the car, be thankful you can afford a nice car, and treat this tiny problem as the minuscule first world issue it is.

Lighten up sport, the photo was mostly tongue and cheek, obvious you don't have much of a sense of humor.
However, I was serious about the eye appointment as one of my son-in-laws is an ophthalmologist and I know from him that light sensitivities can be a symptom of some fairly serious underlying issues.
You stop being condescending, and I'll lighten up.
I'm quite aware that in the grand scheme of things my issue isn't that big.
But as the car is only a week old it is an issue for me.
As I said before, not sure what the point of this forum is if folks can't post an issue that seems important to them and get some constructive help.
If you deem it a worthless post, then just ignore it. Do not demean the person posting by telling them THEIR issue is not that big of a deal.
I work for Apple. I fix people's multi-thousand dollar electronics for a living. There's a bunch of folks that can't afford such nice things. If it told someone that came to my store that was upset because their phone was cracked "It's not that big a deal" they would be very upset, and I'd probably be looking for a new job.
Walk a mile in someone else's moccasins before you post.
I took his description of his dash lights as "blinding" to be hyperbole, describing his issue as a major problem for effect.
But you raise an excellent point. Light hypersensitivity can be a sign of a major vision problem and should not be ignored if this is indeed what any of us experiences.
