I did not install the non-Bluetooth version of the controller, but I did recently install the Bluetooth version on my ‘14. The throttle response is much better with it installed. I have not had a chance to test the Bluetooth function on my phone yet.

I can’t attest to the difference but I did recently install the Bluetooth version. The benefit I personally imagine I’ll see in the future for me is the ease of ability to change it while within range of the car. Perhaps valet mode without getting inside the car? Nonetheless I’ve been very pleased with the quality of the device! Very well made and simple to install.
