Hey guys any help would be appreciated. I have had Kooks longtube headers and offroad X-pipe put on and a standard street tune in my 2016 C7 stingray back in October, I just put a Solar Throttle Response on this week. It ran great and responded great for 1 day, the next day I cranked it up and it went into limp mode. Any suggestions? Should I recalibrate it and try it again or just leave it off? I don't won't to have to worry Day to day about it sending codes and going into limp mode. Thanks in advance.
Had a similar problem earlier this year. Emailed Mike and he sent a replacement unit pronto, and haven't had a glitch since... Mike is on the short list for the best customer service on the interwebs...
Till then, just remove the TC and suffer with the tip-in flat spot
Did you actually take the device off, wipe any codes, and try again. It may be a quirk that the two events occurred together... or not. You don't know otherwise. All the best.
Occam's Razor: Is a philosophical tool for 'shaving off' unlikely explanations. Essentially, when faced with competing explanations for the same phenomenon, the simplest is likely the correct one.

Same thing happened to me and Mike sent me a new one after I returned faulty one. Great customer service. Call him and he’ll take care of you.

I have wiped codes and I think I will try recalibration again and see if that works, if not, I will contact Mike. 👍
Did you have the trans tuned (TCM) along with the ECU when you put the headers on? If so the Soler TC may be conflicting with the changes to the stock trans tune. If they didn't touch the TCM then I agree with what the others have posted above about calling Soler for a replacement.
I pay very close attention to the car's behavior. Mechanical things these days seem to have self-adjustability through computer management based on input. Before the throttle controller, I liked the shifting of the transmission - it was firm but comfortable. With the throttle controller, the increased throttle input makes the TCM think that I'm driving aggressively, and so will pull out the map for aggressive/rough shifting. I'm not a fan of this mode, as the shifts are harsh and it feels like the transmission is getting worn out faster. With the throttle controller, my car was stuck in the aggressive shifting pattern 24/7. I decided to pull it out and the car returned back to 'normal' or how I preferred it. Your mileage may vary.
It absolutely can on an A8. Transmission shift points, pressures, etc... can all be massaged. You wouldn't need that done just for a header install but some tuners pad their pockets with it and some owners ask for it thinking they need it. Higher HP cars or cars that are used on the strip a lot can benefit from it.

Understandable. Thought you were saying the product was no good, which I'd disagree with, but you simply prefer oem shift points which is fair.

FWIW IIRC Mike indicated that the TC was misreading the TB idle setting incorrectly... Assuming a solid design, it sounds like a QC glitch affecting a small number of units.

what really? I thought TCMs were guarded by the industry against tinkering. Why are tuners acting like I’m asking for national secrets when I want them to change transmission characteristics on my infiniti?

Did you try different settings on the throttle controller, one setting is the same as stock and you can go up from there. Of course if you have it set at a higher setting it will behave differently.
