Default Build sheet location?

On our 2015 I've pulled the rear compartment cover up far enough to find the SPID label. If I keep pulling, am I likely to find the build sheet (assuming a previous owner hasn't already done so)? The car appears very unmolested with only 13,000 miles. Or, if that wasn't where GM placed the sheet, where should I look? I'll be ordering the window sticker from the Corvette Museum and will add the build sheet to the order if needed.

Thx!

Larry

I'm under the impression that build sheets have not been put in Corvettes for a long time ...

That's not true. The factory puts them in the car with the accessory bags. Problem is, a lot of dealers or first owners then toss them out.

There's no secret stash in a frame rail or under a trim panel.

You can order some kind of after-the-fact build sheet from the museum, but it's nothing like the sheets that go down the line with the car.

Thanks, guys. Looks like I'll get the copy, or reasonable facsimile thereof, from the museum!

These are what the real build sheets look like from the factory. I'm telling you, you will not be happy with what you get from the museum.

Hmm...OK, I believe you. Does anyone have a pic of a museum build sheet to share?

Go to your dealer and have them print you a build list. It won't be like the one posted above but it will tell you all the standard and options that are on your car.

This is what you get from the museum. It is heavy plastic coated.

Elmer
Gotta pay extra for for the lamination. Mine was just plain paper.

All you are really getting from the museum is a option list of what your car has, has nothing to do with what a build sheet tells you.

Those would be very nice to have, but unfortunately I bought my car used and they were not with the car. Who knows if the original owner even got them. But the Museum sheet is the next best thing.

When I picked up my '18 from Kerbeck's I found a bunch of factory paperwork under the passenger seat.

You can recreate the build sheets as used on the assembly line if you have enough time and printer paper.
Let it Ride sheets are not the same for the early C7.

Yep. Build sheets changed in 2018 when they overhauled the assembly line.

Thanks,
Go to this site https://monroneylabels.com/, enter the VIN, pay $10, and you'll IMMEDIATELY be emailed a PDF of the info that had been on the window sticker. It won't be a duplicate of the sticker (get that from https://www.corvettemuseum.org/ for about 100 bucks), but it will list all the options and prices. Cheap research if you're considering the car. Good luck.

The Monroney label will look like this -
