While I hate car covers because they are such a nuisance, this is the one exception when I would use one. And then I'd try to figure out a way to get rid of the tree or find a different place to park.
Based on the splatter pattern that bird was in flight when that bomb was dropped. Tree is being falsely blamed here it seems. That said, I try not to park under a tree due to sap and residue that so often leaks off. It's much harder to remove.

Unless there is no other option, I do not park any car under a tree. Besides sap from the tree, there is the issue of birds dropping unpleasant surprises on the car.
Like others have stated, the sap and crap that comes off trees is why I don't. Birds going to always be able to get your car no matter where you park lol.
A big bird can leave an awful mess on a convertible top!
Friend with a convertible would have traded with you on that problem. He had the top off and a big bird came along. Well, I think you can see where this is going without me drawing a picture? The words he used could have melted the paint off his car.
To answer the OP's question. I'm not sure. I never pay attention to the trees or the birds. If there is bird crap, I go to the gas station and wipe it off with the squeegee and windshield fluid and then take it to the car wash. BTDT.

Yes, that was my reaction too after he took the trouble to be far away from everyone so they wouldn't hit his car. Based on his reaction, I don't know if he found it as funny as I did but I'm guessing not.
Years ago, with my C5, I pulled into the parking lot at work and slid into a space under a tree. Then I thought about the OP's picture, got back in the car, and moved to an uncovered space.
When I left work to go home, I found a large splat of industrial strength bird manure, containing straw, etc. on the rear hatch edge on my Leman's blue 2004 C5.
Arghh!!
4 minute drive home later, I cleaned it off.
Even though the clear coat seemed smooth and intact, I could see where the splat had been.
Only noticeable if you looked at the right angle, but ....
