My 2016 Stingray is a similar situation. I had it checked in the spring and the readout showed it is good. However, we are planning a few overnight trips in 2022. Therefore, I am going to have a new battery installed as well as Michelin all season tires since it still has the original tires on it. Better safe than sorry.
Exactly my situation. 2016 Stingray with 20K. New battery and tires in the Spring.
I'm still running the OEM AC Delco on my 2008 Cobalt SS. It has never been on a tender. I have 50,000 miles on the car since new, so it is used but not everyday. I do understand why some people change them out when they are in perfect working condition, but I'm just amazed at how long an original OEM can go for.
Think main point is prevention. If you don't mind the off chance of being stranded or having to change it out on a whim, then ride it out. If you just want peace of mind, keep to the 5-6yr window and you will be fine.
A battery that meets or exceeds power requirements specified by the vehicle's manufacturer, vehicle's charging/starting system has been and is in good condition, battery trickle charged (battery tender) when stored, installed in a vehicle used/stored in a moderate climate will typically last 5-6 years.
Delco are good quality batteries, you should have at least another year left in it. If you are the cautious type might want to start looking. I recommend the below.
I base this on my owning/operating a chain of auto parts stores over 16 years and buying/selling/warranting literally thousands of batteries.
Is it just me or are the ACDelco batteries all but impossible to find, except from the dealer? It also appears multiple part numbers have been discontinued if you look at the various GM parts sites online. Some of them show that ALL part numbers are discontinued. I wonder what part number they are putting in the Vettes these days. In the past I've always bought other brands but in doing some research on a new battery I stumbled upon this.

There are parts stores who supply AC/Delco parts including batteries. Personally, I'd just purchase one from a Chevy dealer, I believe they are around $165/$175.
If you have never installed a C7 battery you may want them to install it as it's quite a bit more complex than just swapping a typically automotive battery. I believe they are about $250 installed.

i bought one for my C6 from a non-dealer so it is possible
Actually I think its the opposite. Lots of weird little problems crop up when the battery starts to go south.
I was expecting it to be that way with my battery and there may have been about a week where it took a little bit longer to crank, but then the batter promptly died. I've almost always kept the battery on a tender. So in the future, I'd probably just replace the battery after it passes about 4 years old, regardless.
On an unrelated side note, my key fob battery just died yesterday without any hints that it was "going." Had to stick it in the steering wheel column to start the car.

Definitely not just you. And the dealers don't show a price; you have to email them for a quote.

It seems like both of those are true.
The car will still crank and start normally, but weird electrical things sometimes (but not always) happen while running.
And then suddenly it won't crank at all.
Hard to understand.

I wish it was that simple to get the 48PG. Called two local dealers today. One of them said they were out of stock for the proper battery, a 48PS or 88865244. They directed me to another dealer (Cadillac) and they had the 65244's in stock. When I ask about 30month, 42month, whatever the answer was "that is the only one in the system". He then said that the 48PS is only 30month, there has to be something better but its not in our system. This leads me to believe the 48PG isn't listed as a replacement.....or the guys are giving me the run around. And no, I didn't ask if they had that particular part number, should have. I only gave them the model and VIN.
And FWIW, dealer wants $149 for that 48PS battery.

Since we're on the subject of replacement batteries, I noticed that most, if not all batteries, are only warrantied for 36 months now. Why aren't manufacturers offering 48 and 60 month battery warranties like they use to? What has changed? Are batteries made cheaper now so that you have to replace them more often?

Our original 2017 battery was replaced April 2020 with 88865275

If I'm reading correctly, that has 660 CCA and a higher-than-normal reserve capacity.
Warranty is either 4 yrs or 7 yrs, depending on which source you read.
