Good Afternoon All,
Here's my deal. I have a 2015 Convertible with a dead battery. I can not get into the trunk because the key receiver by the license plate is not securely fastened and recesses up into the rear bumper so I can not properly seat the key from the keyfob. My question is: is there another place to attach jumper cables in order to jump the battery?
Under the hood, right side, behind the fuse block, There is a terminal I use for battery charger. Look around here for some threads on this. A member posted pictures where it's located.
Look above in the sticky section under do it yourself FAQ. There's pictures of the terminals.

Reason: addition
Assuming you can't in the engine compartment since you can't get the rear hatch manually open. If you can't get in the car you need to lift the car and jump it from underneath. There were pics posted of the connection points but I couldn't find the thread. Maybe somebody else has the pics.
There is a terminal on the rear of the under hood fuse block that can be used for a battery maintainer. The terminal has a cover that swings open. The wire is NOT heavy enough for a jump start and likely not heavy enough to charge a fully dead battery.
You might try connecting a 9V battery + to the terminal and - to any ground and see if you can then pop the trunk.
Here's a link to the starter motor connection that is heavy enough for a jump start if necessary.

Ron that link you supplied is the thread I was looking for. You can jump the car from underneath if you're totally locked out of the car (and the engine compartment).
.
I'll also attach pics of the access points in the engine compartment since I have them handy.
I just went through this with my 2015 Convertible. Thanks to my dealers mechanic coming to my garage to work on the problem with me. battery was dead, and the key release cable was disconnected so the trunk wouldn't pop up. we jacked up the car and got power to the starter. had power to car but the trunk would still not release using the rear push button below the trunk. we were able to open door and with power we started the lowering top, stopped it after the rear deck opened. let the cylinders de-charge and we could lift up the back of the top up. then we removed the top storage covers gaining access to the trunk. since our release cable was disconnected we couldn't use the release handle for the trunk release. we attached the tender into the socket and got better power into the car. the electronic releases for the trunk still wouldn't work. we cycled the top and the electronic releases started to work, with the trunk open we were able to put a charger on the battery and get the car running. ran the car for several hours to get a descent charge into the battery. shut it down with the tender attached and it has brought the battery back up to a full charge. I don't know if I have enough cranking power yet but i will wait till the spring for that. we also reconnected the trunk release cable and the key works now to release trunk.
