How warm are the heated seats designed to get? I feel like both the driver and passenger side barely get warm. As compared to my other vehicles which get so hot I have to turn down the heat after a short period of time.
Used them this last weekend. They put out very little heat. But it was enough to take the chill off when we first got in the car in 40 degree weather with no jackets.
As mentioned above the heated seats just warm the seat they don't make it hot. The seats in my Tahoe get so hot I have to turn them down or suffer burns. The ventilated seats actually work quite well although they don't blow a lot of air through them. However, if you are driving the car on a day when you are perspiring heavily when you get into the car the air coming through the center of the seat actually does feel good on the butt and back.

I had real all leather seat material installed in my car. Much heavier than the 2LT faux leather covers.
The seats heated up nicely last week when I had to use them.
While they won’t burn your butt, they will take the chill off😀
Totally normal. My Cayenne seats got so warm so fast that I have to turn em off halfway to work, and they were 14 years older tech than what GM put in my 19. Barely gets lukewarm by the time I get to work.
My new 4Runner gets warm quickly but must cycle or something because they don't keep up the heat beyond a point.
There was a thread here some months ago that asked what was the most worthless C7 feature and the winner or more loser was the heated-ventilated seats.
Thanks for all the feedback guys. Florida man, Florida car….the past few days are the first we’ve had temps below 60 since Covid. Just hadn’t used the feature.
I have no problems. Takes a few minutes to get really warm and then I turn them down. But I'm also in Florida. Seats cool nicely too, as stated previously, with the floor AC vent on.
I have a feeling it has something to do with the typical Corvette owner's backside, same as the complaints about seats that are too tight. My seats heat up nicely even in -30C. Ventilated works fine as well if you have A/C coming out on the floor. My F150 seats and wife's Merc seats both have to be turned down 5 minutes into the drive.
I can fry an egg on my 2010 Sierra at seat heat highest setting. When I bought my ‘17 GS, I thought the heated seats were broken....till I tried another GS. Disappointing, but that’s my only gripe.
My seats were not getting warm. Took the car to my dealer and he said the heating elements were burned out. Replaced under warranty and they work well now. Do not have to use them too often here in AZ but when I do, they get nice and warm quickly.
