Other than LAYS has anyone ever put a chip in their car.

Not sure what you are asking but the C7 doesnt have an upgradeable chip. It must be tuned.

And if GM searches the car's computer and finds there has ever been a non-GM tune in there, Powertrain warranty is gone.

That's irrelevant for some, very important for others.

Reason I asked is that I saw several ads for chips for our cars advertised sounded very easy but I wasn't ready for the wise cracks thought they were only on the C8 side but they were so original and so funny actually they weren't funny and kind of out dated but then I remembered the average age of a Corvette owner and I understood.
Remember the WAVE.

C4 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019

C4 was the last one with a "Chip" to pull in and reprogram. It was changed to RAM memory that had to be flashed in during that generation.

Most of us over here just have a good sense of humor, you did put "Jays" in the title I did some research and did find and ad for chips as well, found it when I was getting some kids off my lawn

Yup - we have a good sense of humour here. No sarcasm in the posts above. If your question was direct "can I put an aftermarket chip in the C7"... you would have got a direct answer.
