I had vertical doors installed on my C7, however I continue to have problems operating the door. It hits the fender or it has almost no clearance on the latch/right side. I've had it adjusted several times, but they really don't seem to know how to. I've tried to call Vertical Door Inc., with no success. Has anyone else had this issue, or any suggestions on what to do? Thanks. Tim

As asked, who is "they". That is the real issue. If "they" is VDI, yank the credit card. If it is the body shop, see above. If you brought it to the body shop, you complicated things.

"They" are the mechanics that installed the hinges. Found out later that this was only the second vehicle they installed vertical hinges. I've taken it back several times over the last two years, The last time he charged me $800. I just think they don't know what to do. Hoping VD will get back to me. At Corvettes at Carlisle, a rep said that they will come out to the house and adjust for $1000 but will guarantee it for life. just can't get them to respond back to get it done.

I think you are better off if you pony up the money and get the reps to do it.If you don't, you will have to pay "them" more money and/or put up with the aggravation. At that point, I'd just dump the doors and go back to the old ones.
"I've taken it back several times over the last two years," You've fought with this issue for two years and haven't put it back original?
Honestly, from the sound of things I doubt by now the things will ever be "right." However, are you having trouble with both doors or only one? If one, how are the two sides different? You may need to do your own trouble-shooting/correction if you insist upon keeping the things. All the best, in any event.
(btw, I'm not a fan of Lambo's doors, either--on any of my bud's Lambos--but if you can find one, try the doors and see how they are supposed to work... not the same critter by any means. All the aftermarket are simply "make-do" at best)
That would be the solution I'd recommend.
I don't know if you ever plan to sell your C7, however it's hard enough to sell a C7 with vertical doors, practically impossible to sell one where the vertical doors operate poorly.
I agree all around. Just wish Vertical Doors would respond back to me. Thanks.
If they have a Facebook presence I suggest communicating with them there. My wife has had much better response from "customer service" when using Facebook instead of the 800 number. I guess it's the public exposure.
