So ive been having some real bad problems lately with my 14 z51 auto. Its been driving fine when i go somewhere and drives like total crap on the way back, some of the things that are happening are: bad misfires resulting in random cylinder misfire codes, car is super down on power, very bad vibrations and shaking, whole door is vibrating when opened while idling, rpms bouncing between 400-1000 on idle, shifts are extremely clunky and slow and sometimes it wont shift for multiple seconds and you could hold the gas pedal down without it changing speed, completely different noise when all of this is happening aswell, I've already taken it to a shop and they said it was the fuse block which they replaced and costed me $1,400 which "fixed" the problem for around 2 weeks. Anyone have any damn clue what this could be?
There is TSB for P0300 random misfires for collapsed lifters (DOD lifters) on these engines with AFM…TSB’s are the first thing your shop should have looked at. What EXACTLY did they say was wrong with the fusebox ??…find that strange !!
How old is your battery? Connectors ever been cleaned? Intermittent, it sounds like wonky electronics in some way to me, not "hardware" as such. All the best.
Had same problems with my ‘14 Z51 last year. Car was still under extended warranty and dealership found two fouled spark plugs. Replaced with new plugs and car has run like a top ever since.
Before you start firing the parts cannon at it take it somewhere that has GM GDS2 or similar diagnostic tool . The fault is making the car go into soft fail mode (reduced power) and I am having a hard time believing that the failure not stored in whatever module is failing . Those symptoms that you posted could be anything from a bad plug to a broken valve spring
