My 2014 C7 is getting ready to be transported by truck from California to Massachusetts within the next few weeks. I called several of the vehicle storage companies and none of them had an electrical outlet to connect a battery tender or even a temperature controlled garage. The reason given for no electrical outlet was a fire hazard. Because I needed a garage available, I rented one. Anyone have any hints on how to take care of the possible battery issue?

Since no outlet is available, you can disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and she will be fine.

I would leave the hatch open too with all the threads where the key doesn't work to open the trunk!
My car was stored last year in a place that said they disconnected the battery but I have no way to confirm. It sat for 5 months, I guess they boosted it to start it up.
Now my car resides in my unheated garage with a tender.
How long will it take to be transported? If it's only a few weeks the battery will be just fine. If it takes longer just disconnect the battery as others have said.
I wouldn't leave the hatch open or a window down during transport, but that's just me.
