Default Are these numbers normal?

We're coming up on the end of our first three months of ownership and first 1,000 miles on our 2015 Z51, so it's probably past time that I asked about this. Do the temps, oil pressure and volts seen below look normal/correct/right? Outside temp was 57 degrees, car had been driven about 10 miles by the time the pic was snapped.

I suppose another related question is, what would be the acceptable operating ranges for these items?

TIA,
Larry

Hi Larry,
That is quite normal, driving/cruising at 74mph wit OT at 57F. The engine was most probably in V4 mode (unless you have it disabled) when the picture was taken. I have seen temps as high as 217F, oil pressure anywhere from 29 to above 40 and battery voltage of 15 while charging is okay.

Best regards,
Vip.

All good given the outside temp. But, the car temps will be higher as the weather warms up; no problem. Now, take a DRIVE and stop finding things to worry about!

The 188 degree coolant temp indicates the engine is just a little warmer than the stock thermostat setting. With part throttle usage the oil temp will usually run about the same temperature as the coolant temp or a little lower. If you start running the car harder (like WOT or near WOT) for 10 minutes at a time the coolant temp will run 215 to 220 and the oil temp will run somewhere between 40 and 50 degrees higher than coolant temp. At the speed indicated V4 mode doesn't happen too often as it needs near no-load situations to make the switch from V8 to V4. My M7 Z will rarely use V4 mode at 70 mph in 7th gear and in cruise unless the road is flat as a pancake. Any slight hill that I may encounter but not even notice will throw the engine into V8 mode.

So you actually use ECO mode and let the car go into V4? I thought that is frowned upon here.

Using the V4 mode is asking for valve lifter problems.....

After reading this thread I think I am ok with my temperatures, but I am new to Vette ownership having just purchasing mine in December last year and just want to check with the experts here. I always feel nervous when any gauge goes over half way and saw for the first time the oil temp so high. Here was the situation - base 2019 Stingray, around town driving 30-50 mph stop and go, A8 in auto mode, Aircon off, outside air temp 70 degrees. Also this was only the 2nd time for me driving the car at 70 degrees outside. Has always been colder. I snapped this pic at idle after going into park for approx.1 minute, but they are the same as when I was driving. Are the numbers I was seeing normal and nothing to be concerned with?
Thanks in advance.
