forward cameras
Good morning fellow Corvette Pilots! Does anybody know if the Z51 Stingrays came with the wiring circuits installed for the forward cameras like the Z06 / Grand Sports have? I know sometimes manufacturers will install the wiring for accessories that aren't necessarily installed and I was thinking of installing the forward cameras if the wiring was already in place. Thanks.

Are you referring to the PDR or the curb cameras? Actually, may not matter. These were options, not necessarily specific to a model. From my understanding if you didn't get the option, they are very difficult to retrofit.

2014 did not have PDR nor Front Cameras I installed Navtool for the front camera and Blackview for the substitute for the PDR.
2015-19 Had front cameras if you had 2LT or 3LT and PDR if you got the option

I'm not really interested in the PDR, since I don't track my car. I'm only interested in the forward cameras for curb protection. If the wiring and circuitry isn't already there them I'm not going to do it.

YOu might want to check out Navtool. It will give you a front and side cameras and display it on your NAV screen. That's what I did to have the front cameras in my 14.

The 2015 didn’t come with front cameras in any trim level actually. That’s why I have a NAVTool as well.👍🏼
