Default What's causing this?

So I lost my other account(Z06LIFE). Seems the forgot password function is not working correctly.
Anyways, here's my problem with the car.....

I take it out for a drive, come home, park in garage. 30 minutes later the garage stinks of fuel. It lingers for days before going away. No visible fuel leaks or pooling on engine. Any clues guys?
2017 Z06 completely stock.

If a mod sees this please help with getting my account back (Z06LIFE) Thank you.

I’d hold off on driving it till you figure out where the leak is. No check engine light?

Not insulting you as if you can't tell the difference, but sometimes people mistake used engine oil smell for a fuel smell. Especially if you've changed your in cabin filter, or did some underhood detailing recently, it's possible you have a loose oil breather line (around the sump tank). Otherwise, the fuel system is sealed. You've got to have a leak to smell fuel for days.

No check engine light. Definitely fuel odor. Everything is normal except for the post drive odor.

If it's definitely fuel, get it up on a hoist and have a tech or you inspect it. Not normal

There is a GM bulletin for certain C7 Corvette where the warranty was extended because of a fuel tank crossover pipe issue & GM would repair it if it failed. You can go on GM's site & put your Vin# in & see if your car is one of the covered cars.

I had that crossover problem on my 04,Started with fuel smell in garage no leak about 4 days later I checked the night before the service appointment there was a fuel leak on underside of corvette floor just below fuel door. There was a plastic part that was defective. Here some pictures if it helps.

Defective part!

Drips of fuel on underside of floor below fuel door. NO drips on garage floor!

Fuel system out of car.

On my first '14 C7, it was a crack on the top side of driver's side fuel tank. Same smell, no codes.

Good advice.. Had this problem with our C6 and luckily, Chevy dealer took care of it at no charge. I believe it affected some C7 's as well, thru 2017, if I'm remembering correctly..

Just checked with my dealer and they told me I don't have the added warranty that covers the fuel smell issue. That's some BS. I do have an extended warranty I bought from them that might cover it but I would have to pay a deductible then.
so screw them, while it's there they can fix the one position on drivers seat that stopped working as well on that warranty.
