I bought a 16 Z06 in another state. I haven't taken delivery of it yet. The salesman was doing a remote walk through of the car with me and he pushed the screen button to lower the center console screen. When he pushed it a second time, the screen went up about a half inch and then went back down. He pushed it several more times and got the same result. Then he discovered if he "double taps" the button, the screen would go up. He's trying to sell this as "normal", but my recollection from a previous stingray, and a buddy that has a '15 Z06, is that something is not right here.
Can y'all confirm? the button should be single press for "screen down" and single press for "screen up", right?
Another forum member recently had a similar problem with the screen not functioning correctly. He replaced his aging battery and problem solved. I'd ask if battery is original and have them replace if it is. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-randomly.html

Looks like he's continuing to have issues after replacing the battery.
One push for me as well, however I placed a 2nd Amendment item in there last weekend that fit no problem while the car was stationary. But when I went to remove it, the item had shifted during my drive and prevented the screen from going down more than half way down - it would hit the item and then close right back up. It was a pain to get it since I had to try to be faster than the screen going up. My fingers got pinched several times by the screen before I was able to fix the situation.

Yes but that item is on you. If it worked before the item shifted and after it was removed, no problem. I only double tap for the said item not the push button. I think something is hanging it up on the tracks and the computer is detecting a larger current draw and trying to close it back.
