I am going to the Corvette Museum on the 22nd of May of course I am driving up from Orlando Florida. Probably going to stay three nights in a motel in Bowling Green. The first day is the Museum and don't know what I will be doing on day two. Looking for suggestions for a motel close by. Would like one with ample parking, breakfast, quite and clean. Not to worried about price as only looking at three nights. My main concern is parking do not want to get any dings in the Vette. I see a lot of motels nearby but hard to tell which one would work out the best. Thanks for any place you have stayed and were happy with.
I always look on Google Maps satellite image and look at the lots. Check the reviews as well. I heard the assembly plant is now doing tours. If they are, make a reservation and do it.
Anyone stay at the Sync hotel sounds very nice but don't need a suite. They have private garages to put your Corvette in, anyone know the price which would be a plus for me.
I've stayed at Hotel Sync multiple times. Nice place, nice management. The garages are, I think, $100/night. I've tried to negotiate a lower price multiple times (when they were obviously going to be empty) to no avail. Walking distance to the Museum. No breakfast. I'll be staying there for sure in the future.
I like the Sync too. But there is no breakfast...I think. There wasn't when I was there last year. There are two other hotels right next to it. One of those probably has breakfast.
ALSO...theres a good car wash bay down the road that I discovered. Covered pressure washer style...do it your self. I like it cause it also has handheld dryers/blowers! I brought car wash stuff with me and was SOOO surprised and glad this place had these dryers/blowers. Very little towel drying.

Just checked the Museum website. No plant tours at this time, undetermined when they will resume.
I made reservations at Sync and for a suite the price wasn't that bad. I reserved a garage also and was told it was 30.00 extra. I hate not having a breakfast but I am sure I can find some place to eat. Thanks for all the info will let you know how it works out.
I'd see about Tracking your Corvette while there if you're so inclined. I'm a Super 8 guest in most places I visit is my chain of choice. Great to go and see the Museum!
Mammoth Cave has some guided walking tours. Not recommended if you are claustrophobic or very large. There were a couple low or narrow spots on the tour that I took.
Check the Mammoth Cave National Park web site for reservations.
